Open house weekend: Queens properties asking at (or near) the median price of $485,000

As we recently discovered (thanks, first-quarter market reports!), the median price in Queens rose 21.3 percent to $485,000 in the first three months of this year, thanks in part to outpriced Brooklyn buyers who've decamped to the borough for its more manageable prices. This weekend, we bring you a sampling of Queens apartments with prices at, or near, the median:

183 Beach 117th Street, Apartment 2, Rockaway Park. Live near the beach in this two-bedroom, two-bath that comes with private parking and outdoor space. Asking price: $445,000. Open house: Sunday, April 30, 12 noon to 1 pm.

102-30 66th Road, Apartment 14H, Forest Hills. This two-bedroom, one-bath covers 1053 square feet and is in a doorman building. Asking price: $480,000. Open house: Saturday, April 29, 12 noon to 2 pm, and Sunday, April 30, 1 pm to 3 pm.

3540 30th Street, Apartment 1D, Long Island City. A renovated studio with two closets; it's in a condo with a part-time doorman. Asking price: $485,000. Open house: Sunday, 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.

18519 Hilburn Avenue, St. Albans. A three-bedroom, three-bath single-family with a finished basement and a driveway. Asking price: $490,000. Open house: Sunday, April 30, 11 am to 12:30 pm.
